If you employ people in Victoria, you would be aware of the Public Health Order which has required all workers who work outside the home to be vaccinated (subject to limited exemptions).

The Victorian Government has announced that this will be rolled back for most workers (not those who work with vulnerable people) from 11.59pm on Friday 24 June 2022, meaning that from Saturday 25 June, there is no longer a government mandated requirement to be vaccinated to work in the workplace in Victoria.

What vaccine requirements apply (if any) will be determined by the individual workplace.

Employers should give consideration to what this means for their workforce, and ensuring this is communicated to its staff before the end of this week.

Please reach out if you wish to discuss the impact of these changes on your business.
